Cancellations and Refunds
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (as amended 2005)
By purchasing over the internet or by telephone you are entering into a “Distance Sale”. In addition to your normal statutory rights as a consumer you also have the right to cancel the contract at any time within seven days.
This right does NOT apply to products specifically made or ordered to your specifications and this includes floor coverings.
If your order has not been delivered and you wish to cancel your order please call 01924 374850 (9am till 4.45pm Mon - Sat) and one of our sales team will check the status of your order and confirm if the cancellation is possible.
If you have taken delivery of your Carpet you must return it to us at your own expense. If your carpet has already been cut to your specifications we will not accept a cancellation of your order and refund your money. If, however, the product has been prepared for you we will only accept cancellation if we may deduct a proportion of the purchase price from the refund we issue to you to cover the losses we will incur in selling your purchase as a reduced price remnant in store.
Refunds for unwanted items can not be issued on special order rugs. This includes all non - stock sizes
If you have taken delivery of your Rug you must return it to us at your own expense. We can arrange a return using our original carrier but at your expense. We will then refund the order in full less any direct expenses we may have incurred in fulfilling the original agreement. Direct expenses incurred include any delivery / return costs whether charged or not (e.g. FREE Delivery). Deliveries are calculated by weight and delivery location.
Only stock items can be refunded and restocked special order items can not be returned
Damage in Transit
All carriers are selected through stringent guidelines for service and quality control but you need to be aware of what you need to do should a problem arise.
You have a reasonable time under law to examine the goods to see if they are in good condition. It is your responsibility to check the goods for any any signs of damage. If you spot any sign of damage to the outer packaging then please clearly sign for the goods as DAMAGED. This will cover you should the product prove to be damaged upon later inspection. If you fail to do so we will not be able to claim for the damage against the Couriers. No other form of words such as 'unchecked' or 'unexamined' is acceptable, it must be DAMAGED.
YOU NEED TO MAKE US AWARE OF THIS AS SOON AS YOU HAVE ACCEPTED THE DELIVERY AND PROVIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE IF POSSIBLE
All our products are fully inspected before dispatch to ensure no problems arise with manufacturing faults.
We will not accept any returns of any material which has been fitted or cut. Please check all material before it is installed for any manufacturer defects.
